{Violet’s POV}
I gazed around now, not knowing what to think. Shamira’s argument had left me dumbfounded and I didn’t know what to believe.
A voice in my head told me I was wrong to treat Liam so cruelly while another was unsure. But what I was sure about was that I needed to speak to him.
I suddenly felt like ditching the party and returning to the Lodge but then I couldn’t leave these little ones unsupervised. Yesterday might have been the last day for us being Volunteers but we still had to supervise our Wards today, especially as they enjoyed themselves, ate, and played around.
Speaking of the Wards, a group of nurses traipsed into the Party Hall now, each of them pushing a Wheelchair of gorgeous-looking Wards.
I smiled at the sight.
