{Violet’s POV}
I sneaked a peak at Liam to study his facial expression. To grasp a clue of what he might be thinking.
Dr. Glasshouse had repeated himself again, and I somehow found myself wanting to know how Liam felt about it— even though I already had a clear idea.
“By the end of this week, every Volunteer would have their partners reshuffled. The reshuffling would be based on General votes. New partner pairs would be formed based on the Preference of every one of us.” Dr. Glasshouse had said.
He basically wanted us to change partners because he felt that some Volunteers were lazy while some were hard workers. And since most hard workers were in pair, he wanted to reshuffle to have a perfect mix and aid maximum efficiency towards the rehabilitation of the Wards.
This was good news—
