{Violet’s POV}
My shift at Spruce Spruce was a tiring one, but at least I knew how to operate the cash register properly now.
I jumped into my car now and started the engine as fast as I could.
It didn’t start and my heart skipped two beats.
I tried again and the rattling rumble of the engine claimed the silence. I sighed in relief.
I immediately reversed out of the parking lot and drove off out of the clothing store’s vicinity.
Why was I in a haste?
I had a party to attend and I didn’t know what to freaking wear!
I drove back to school and rushed to my dorm room. Liam had texted to tell me he’d come to pick me up in the next 40 minutes
— and I’d spent 15 minutes out of that time driving and running.
In my haste, I barged into the room but I halted as I realized Camila and Jane
