Part 10

Sasha's PVO After I woke up, I heard a knock on the door. At first I thought I was still dreaming, but when the knocking didn't stop I opened my eyes. She certainly wasn't a mom, because she knew I hated waking up in the morning no matter what time it was. "Ah! Who is it, what do you want?" I heard my grandmother's calm voice on the other side of the door. "Sasha, honey, it's me. Can I learn to talk a little?" "Of course, Grandma, I'm sorry. Come in freely." I saw her tall figure. Even if she was old, she kept a slender line, and her face still had a youthful beauty. I wondered if it was genetics, and if I would look so good at her age. She sat on the bed next to me. "Did I wake you up?" "No, I've been awake for a while. What did you want to talk to me about?" "Look Sasha. I know you don't agree with moving, but let's make a deal." "Before we leave, I'll persuade Richard to let you go on a five-day trip with friends, organized by the school." "What a trip I don't ..." Before I finished the sentence, I received a message from Ana. Come to the center, we have news that a trip is being prepared. "How did you know?" "It doesn't matter now. But if they let you go, do you promise to come with us without talking when you return?" "I can't promise you that, Grandma, but I promise I won't make a problem and I'll go." "All right. And I promise you that when those five Days are over, you'll want to leave on your own." "What?" "Nothing. Come on, dear, get ready and go, your friends are waiting for you" As soon as she left the room, I immediately jumped out of bed, went to the toilet to take a quick shower, tied my hair in a long braid, put on my jeans, black skirt, long nq glass boots and my favorite flower jacket. When I looked in the mirror I was pleased with what I saw in the mirror. I went downstairs and immediately left the house, just saying goodbye at the door to my mom who came in with a bucket of wood so she could start a fire. The snow fell a lot overnight. The cars were covered in snow that looked like a white fur coat. Everything looked somehow cleaner and healthier because of all the whiteness, as if the snow was cleaning the city of dirt. As I approached the center I saw a group gathering, I noticed friends in the corner. I saw Ana laughing. I approached them. "Vozdra raja sta imaa?" "Ah! Sasha did you hear? The city is taking us on a ski trip, isn't that great." "Yes it is. But Ana, do you think yours will let you go?" "Haha. Mine that's no problem, but what about you?" "Believe me I don't know, but there's Grandma, I think she'll help me with that." We were interrupted by the director's voice, which was not heard on the loudspeaker "My dear graduates. In order to brighten up these holidays and the last school year, we have decided to make you happy with this trip. Everyone who wants to go should get ready and come tonight before school, from there we take a bus, of course with signed permits from parents." We looked at each other with delight. Probably not tonight. I hope Grandma manages to persuade Dad to let me go. "Sasaha. Can you hear me? Let's go to Lidl to eat something, I'm hungry." "Haha. Ana, you're always hungry." "What will I do when I'm always hungry with excitement." We went for a pizza that we half ate as usual. Ana did not stop talking about the trip, and about what she would take from the wardrobe. After lunch we said goodbye and I headed home. I needed to persuade Dad to let me go, and then he just started packing. I was hoping that my grandmother had already done half the work, but if anyone could persuade him to let me go, that was here. I came home very quickly, because if my grandmother manages to persuade my dad, and he miraculously agrees to let me go, I have to pack up, and it's not as simple as it seems. I have to have daily clothes, then clothes for skiing and going out. I have to pack it all and it's been 4 hours. I went into the house and heard them talking in the living room. "No, that's out of the question, are you sure, Mom?" "Yes Richard did. Let her go, trust me at least once. She came." I went into the living room, with a dose of fear that my dad wouldn't let me go. "Dad, how are you, how was work?" "A. Now means dad again, now I'm not a monster who doesn't ask anything?" "Okay, you were right, maybe I exaggerated a little, but you made that decision so abruptly without even asking me what I thought about it before." "Uh. All right. Let's let it go now. Do you really want to go on that trip?" "So what's the question, of course I wish I could?" "Okay, you can, but thank Grandma for that." I jumped for joy. I hugged both Dad and Grandma out of happiness, thanked them and jumped to the room. Quickly I sent Ana a message that I was going on a trip too and threw myself into packing my suitcase. I was so busy packing that when I finally finished I didn't even notice that it was getting dark. s**t, I just need to be late for the bus. Luckily I heard my grandfather calling me to go with him, he will drag me away, because no one was in the house. Super. begins my five days of freedom.
