Prom the best day of any teenagers life.. I was all prepared to it, I had my dress my brand new heels and my make up all sorted, Nothing could go wrong.. but some how it did.
No school today I thought to my self. practically lying to myself. pulling my hair in one and doing my nails were the last thing I had to do. “Tyrese!" I yelled out to my stepbrother. with no idea of when he'd come out the bathroom I rushed into the living room ready to beg my step mom to get my UN biological, lack of common sense brother in law out the bathroom.
smak-taciously I hopped outside like a frog being chased by playful cats. a beautiful young man almost around the same age of me past out side my house.. I had normally evaded boys because they were only after my body, but here I was aimlessly drooling over a nobody.
running through the living room I sprinted towards the door then outside I went....
“Hey!" I shouted on the gallery. The boy stopped walking and looked at me. Confused he approached me..
“um... D-Do you wanna hang out with me tonight its a one night offer?." I asked,“my names Kayla but the way."
he chuckles, “that's a lovely name I'm Kevin. and I don't know you very well so I'm sorry Kayla but I have to decline." he says.
who was I to blame him.. I mean it was dumb approaching a stranger like that and what if he was a wanted killer. I laughed,“oh its OK! um so can I get your number kyle?" I blushed.
the dialogue between us continues and I got the understanding that kevin had already finished school a year ago..At that time everything about prom had left my mind. As he kept speaking i slowly and carefully glided my eyes to his lips. I didn't know him that I only met him minutes ago, I felt completely drawn to him. “Prom?!" I caught my self saying it out loud
“So since my little sister is going to prom I'll be there." he said putting his hands behind his head “wanna be my date?” he said looking at the neighbors house..
"sure!" I said..“ill see you later then!?"
we both knodded and headed our way
