Chapter 5 Suffering

I gasped and was a bit surprised when the door of the office suddenly flung open. I turned to look in that direction and gulped. My fingers hung in the air as I was typing some e-mail. Leon, the epitome of corporate ruthlessness, strode into the room with the confidence of a man who owned the world–or at least this particular corner of it. His sharp suit, tailored to perfection, barely contained the coiled energy within. Dark, calculating eyes scanned the office, taking in every detail, every potential flaw, and every opportunity to assert his dominance. My stomach suddenly churned as I watched him approach. My cheeks were burning as I remembered what happened between us. He took my virginity and paid me for it. There will be more in the future, I’m sure of that, as his eyes were set on me now, like a predator to his poor prey. “Show me my schedule for today,” he commanded in a very cold voice. I immediately nodded and took the organizer I got for myself. I stood up and went to his desk. He hung his coat on the backrest of his chair and sat comfortably while looking at me. I cleared my throat as I began reading his appointments for the day. I felt a bit conscious because he was staring intently at me. “Cancel the lunch meeting and tell Marissa to set it for tomorrow afternoon,” he interrupted me. I was a bit hesitant but still managed to nod. “Alright, Sir,” I replied and continued with the rest. “Have you had breakfast, Felixia?” he asked after I finished reading everything. My brows furrowed, and I was caught with the question. Should I answer it honestly? But, I did not have any breakfast because I wanted to be here early. “Y-Yes, Sir. Thanks for asking,” I still politely answered. He did not speak and just stared at me, making me feel more conscious. “I did not. From now on, do not eat all by yourself. We will have breakfast, lunch and dinner together,” he said. I blinked a few times in shock. Did I hear him right? “S-Sir, I think that is not part of my job and–” “Who said that? You are my personal assistant, so you have to be with me whenever I need you to. End of discussion. Now order some breakfast and make me coffee, a strong one,” he ordered. I wanted to reason out, but I was told that Leon hates it when someone is defying his orders. So, I just breathed a sigh and did as he said. I went out to talk to Marissa. She smiled at me when she saw me approaching. “Hi! I am very sorry to disturb you, but our boss said that his lunch meeting must be canceled and be moved to tomorrow afternoon. Then he also asked me to order breakfast, but I don’t know what he likes to eat,” I informed her, more of a pleading, actually. She smiled wider while nodding. “Alright. I will ask the cafeteria to prepare Mr. Wright his breakfast. Don’t worry about it,” she assured me. “Will they know what food to bring?” I worriedly asked. She smiled at me, more of an amused, really. “They know. Don’t be pressured, Felixia. Relax.” She gently tapped my left shoulder. I nodded and exhaled. When I got back inside, Leon was already busy in front of his laptop. His brows were furrowed, and he seemed like scrutinizing something there. I quietly went back to my desk and continued with my work. After twenty minutes, Marissa entered the office, and the smell of food immediately reached my nostrils. My stomach grumbled at the delicious food. “Sir, your breakfast is here,” Marissa announced with a big smile. She even glanced a little at me, so I smiled back at her. “Felixia, fix the food on the table,” Leon ordered without taking his eyes off of his laptop. I followed his order immediately and thanked Marissa. After I fixed the table and made his coffee, I went to his desk. “Sir, your food is ready.” He looked up at me and removed his glasses. “Good. Let’s eat.” My eyes grew wider as I watched him stride to the dining table. I took a deep breath and tried to calm my racing thoughts. I walked over to the table, my legs feeling like they were made of lead. I was a bit surprised to see that there were already fresh fruits there. Where did he get those? Or maybe he had them from the start? I looked at the pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, hotdogs and a carafe of orange juice. I felt a bit proud of myself with the arrangement I made on the table. "Help yourself," Leon said, taking a seat opposite me. I wanted to say no, but his gaze instantly silenced me. I just nodded and took a small plate, serving myself a modest portion of scrambled eggs and a piece of toast. Leon did the same, his movements were precise and controlled. For a few minutes, we ate in silence. The only sound was the clinking of cutlery against the plate. I was too stunned and scared to initiate any conversation, and Leon seemed content to let the silence stretch. Finally, Leon set down his fork and looked directly at me, his piercing green eyes locking onto mine. "Do you like the food? " he asked. I nodded, swallowing hard. "Yes, Sir. They were really good." He leaned back in his chair, his expression a bit hardened. "Do you have a boyfriend now, Felixia?" I blinked, taken aback. I did not see that coming. I cleared my throat before answering. “Sir, I think that is already a personal question and–” “You signed a contract, remember? One of the clauses there said that you will be mine as long as I want you to, and you will get any luxury that you want,” he sarcastically cut me. I felt like my heart was slashed in half by the reminder. What was I thinking? I am not really working here as his personal assistant but his w***e. I totally lost all my appetite and set aside my fork. “What do you want?” I quietly asked, keeping my composure intact, but the reality is, I just wanted to run away from him. But I have debts to pay, and this is the only way. "You know what I want," he smirked. "I just want to know what kind of guy you are dating now after you turned me down. After you made me look like a fool!" he snarled at me. I stood up and wanted to leave, but he was fast to get near me and grabbed my wrist, his grip painfully tight. "Leon, please..." "Do you know what I've gone through because of you?" he growled. "The sleepless nights, the anger, the humiliation? Do you have any idea?" Tears began to form in my eyes as I shook my head. "I'm sorry, Leon. I truly am. But this isn't the way–" He yanked me closer, his face inches from mine. "You don't get to decide what's the way. I do. You see, you are mine now, and I will do anything I want to you!" My heart sank as his words registered. "What do you mean?" He didn’t answer, and he knocked all the dishes off the table, and they all fell on the floor. The noise from the broken glasses and plates made me gasp. Then he picked me up and put me forcefully on the table with my stomach. Then I heard his belt being unclasped and the unzipping of his pants. "Leon, this is wrong. You can't treat people this way," I begged him because I was afraid. “You don’t tell me how I should and should not treat people!” He tore my underwear with one hand while he lifted my skirt. And now I am already half naked in front of him. “Please, don’t do this, Leon. Please, this is wrong!” I continued to plead. "Wrong?" he laughed, the sound harsh and taunting. "What's wrong is how you led me on, made me believe there was something between us. What's wrong is how you rejected me after I took the courage to confess my real feelings for you." "That was never my intention," I said, my voice breaking. "I never wanted to hurt you and–ahhh!" I yelped in pain when he abruptly parted my legs and shoved his huge c**k inside me. I wasn’t wet nor ready for him, but he invaded me without any sort of warning. "Too late for that," he snapped. "You're mine now. You'll do as I say, when I say it. And if you don't, well, you will be punished." He began thrusting, not giving me any chance to adjust to his size. I gripped the side of the table as I endured the pain of what he was doing to me. The threat in his voice was unmistakable. I knew Leon had the power to ruin me professionally and personally. He had connections, influence, and a ruthless streak that I had never fully comprehended until now. "Why are you doing this?" I asked, tears streaming down my face. "Why?" he echoed, his voice filled with venom. "Because I want to see you suffer. Because I want to see the same pain in your eyes that you caused me. And because I can." He continued thrusting harshly inside me, ignoring all my pleas and cries. He was groaning pleasurably in between his thrusts. Suddenly, his movements became wilder, my whole body was shaking with his rough f*****g. My core felt like burning with the throbbing pain. With a loud grunt, he released inside me and pulled his shaft out of my core. I was just crying all the time. I didn’t even move a bit. I was hurt, but my heart was hurting more. I felt him staring at my back in silence, until I heard him walk away from me. I slowly got off the table. I almost fell because my legs were trembling as they touched the floor. I was so sore down there. I went to the bathroom and cleaned myself. My tears couldn’t stop falling. “I have to do this. I have to be strong… I need his money…” I kept chanting these words in my head to comfort myself. When I got out, I saw Leon sitting on his sofa, refilling his glass of whiskey and pouring another…maybe for me. I was right because he handed me the glass, and I took it with trembling hands. I was so afraid to refuse any command from him after what he just did. He really changed. He was no longer the man I loved the most before. "Drink," he commanded. I didn’t hesitate, then took a small sip, the alcohol burning my throat. "Good," he said, taking a sip of his own. "Now, let me make something clear. You have no power here. You are here to serve me, to fulfill my needs. Do you understand?" I nodded, unable to find my voice. "Say it," he demanded, his eyes boring into mine. "I understand," I whispered. "Good," he said, his tone softening slightly. "And remember, the more obedient you are, the easier this will be for you. Defy me, and you'll regret it." I felt utterly defeated, my spirit crushed under the weight of his words. The Leon I had once admired and loved for was gone, replaced by a vindictive monster. I couldn't fathom how someone could harbor such resentment for so long, how they could let it fester and grow into something so toxic. As the evening wore on, Leon continued to belittle me, throwing in insults whenever he could. He mocked my appearance, my intelligence, and my past relationships that he was accusing me of. Each word was a dagger, cutting deeper into my already fragile self-esteem. "You think you're so special, don't you?" he sneered. "So above everyone else. But look at you now. Just a pathetic little pawn in my game." I bit my lip, trying to hold back the tears. I couldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing me break. "And don't think for a second that anyone will come to your rescue," he continued. "No one cares about you. You're alone, just like you made me feel before." I looked away, unable to meet his gaze. His words echoed in my mind, each one a painful reminder of my new reality. The whole day we only stayed in the office. Marissa brought us food and Leon told everyone never to disturb us, no matter what. Eventually, he grew tired of his tirades. He stood up, his expression one of bored indifference. "You can go now," he said, waving his hand dismissively. "I'll summon you when I need you. And be early tomorrow in my penthouse. I want to f**k you with my heart’s content." I nodded numbly, setting down my untouched glass of whiskey and making my way to the door. As I reached for the handle, he called out to me one last time. "And remember," he said, his voice cold and barren of any warmth, "you belong to me now." I left the office, the door closing behind me with a heavy thud. As I walked down the empty hallway, the weight of Leon's words settled over me like a suffocating blanket. I felt trapped, hopeless, and utterly alone.
