The outer Alliance Parliament was a large circular building, filled with offices and temporary housing in the upper floors. Depending on his schedule, sometimes Lucifer spent more time in this office than his real one. He paused, one hand on the door knob to the chamber where these particular types of ‘appointments’ were kept.
