For three days he'd worked on the computer, and still the AI sat there, every bit as useless as he was. Darned technology! How was he supposed to fix it when he couldn't remember anything?
He had a mission. He could feel that mission in his bones. It whispered like a heartbeat, 'tell somebody, tell somebody, tell somebody!' But the mission itself was nothing but an errant emotion. No memories. No clues. No idea what he was supposed to tell. Just an uneasy feeling he'd left something important undone.
