"What?" Gaus asked, still in denial of what he heard. Tears are starting to fall from Cytherea’s eyes as she looks at Gaus’ face. She could tell that he was really devastated about what he just said. Gaus looked like his world was tumbling down on him. The corner of his eyes is starting to build up tears. She wanted to take back what she said. She didn’t know that her heart would be crushed just by looking at Gaus in this painful state. Cytherea cleared her throat a couple of times to make sure she will not stammer nor have her voice crack. “I said stop courting me. You have to stay away far from me, Ares. Being with me is no longer healthy. The men who tried to come closer to me and my fiance are already dead, Gaus. You could be next. For sure he already knows that you are courting me
