The lights are dim. Mia is laying on the bed facing the ceiling with her right hand on her stomach. Her eyes are closed and she looks calm. Her abdomen is wrapped up in a bandage and a drip bag is hung on a pole which is beside Mia’s bed and the blood in the drip bag is transferred slowly into the body of Mia.
Oscar walks to and fro in the ward with his left arm folded and his right hand on his jaw. He moves his right hand once in a while to his hair as he ruffles it up due to his anxiety. He has been in the hospital for a long time now and Mia has not opened her eyes once nor blinked.
When Mia was stabbed, she fell backward but not to the ground as Oscar caught her on time. The men in black watch as Oscar speaks to Mia. They did not move from their spot.
