The next day, Mia slept till the late hours of the day. The weekend was not a very special day for Mia because most of the time she had nothing to do but on this Saturday, Mia slept for a long time which was unusual for her. Amanda has recently stopped coming into Mia’s room to call her to have a meal or wake her up for reasons Mia does not care to know about.
The afternoon sun peeked through her window and shone on her. She turns a couple of times before eventually opening her eyes. She sighs and sits upright staring at her door. Her problems flooded her mind and she sighs and stands.
She goes into the bathroom and turns on the bathroom sink tap. She washes her face and stares at herself in the mirror. She notices someone behind her and turns sharply but she sees no one.
