I had to talk David down for a minute, but once he focused again, I was finally able to start getting the dessert assembled. The first layer was decorated more toward the 'crust' so it wouldn't get smashed. Pearls, flowers, sparkly powders, and edible sugar jewels made up the decorations on the bottom layer. The second layer had much the same. The top layer had exquisite chocolate decorations shaped like exotic flowers and animals. The topper I designed for the mistress in particular was graced with a chocolate hummingbird that took me six times to get perfect. I even painted it with emerald wings and a ruby throat. It was drinking a 'nectar' made from white chocolate and painted with gold powder from a fiery orange and yellow hibiscus flower. It was gorgeous and
