She sat in her home with Whit and Milly; Mirror had taken the other children in the orphanage up to the packhouse to watch a movie in the theater, knowing that Parker was going to be formally introduced to Whit after dinner and everyone thought it would be best if the other children weren’t there to sit and stare at them all.
