It was a long drive back to his pack and he was a little more than shocked that Belladonna was still driving the car that he’d bought her. It still looked to be in good condition as well. It was well maintained, he supposed and washed on a regular basis.
They’d stopped overnight in a nice hotel that he’d pre-booked, once knowing they were going to be travelling with him instead of making the trip in one long drive, he wouldn’t be taxing her like that. He and his unit switched drivers every couple of hours and that was how they did the trips in one day.
But Belladonna was driving that car alone. He’d offered to have one of the boys or himself share the driving with her, but she’d just shaken her head and stated, “No, thanks I’m good.” And he’d let it go.
