It was hard to see Belladonna like this. He’d thought it might happen, her being fully overwhelmed by her emotions as they came into effect. They’d sat together with Shannon and discussed it before all this had started. So, she knew that lack of sleep would raise her fear and anxiety, and that calming down when it was triggered could take anywhere up to 20 minutes for the symptoms to reside if they were severe.
They’d also sat down with Whitney but not Milly. She was too little to understand what was going on and explained to Whit that something was wrong with Freya. He’d not liked hearing it and had tried to speak with Freya, apparently something he could do all the time.
Not even Whit had gotten a response from Freya that day, and he’d not liked it anymore than Belladonna had.
