Sports Medicine Course presented by J. Davidson.
Abbie sat at her desk confusedly. J as in Josh? Could he be the substitute for Mr. Miller?! Oh god.
"Girl, I am so excited for today."
Abbie looked at her friend Amanda and raised her eyebrows. "What's today?"
"Didn't you hear??? Mr. Miller knows a guy who works with a hockey team to teach us temporarily! I heard he is so hot!"
"Oh, I..."
"Hello class. I apologize for being late."
The voice immediately made Abbie's heart race. The moment she laid her eyes on Josh, she felt like she could faint. Oh god. This is not what I wanted.
Josh looked at Abbie and smirked. God damn it! Why does it have to be Josh?!
"He's staring at you! Do you two know each other?" Amanda whispered.
"No. I have no idea who he is."
Class dragged and all she noticed was Josh staring at her every now and then.
"Ms. Morse, what is one of the most common injury for a hockey player?"
"Hmm? Oh. An ACL tear or concussion."
"Good. I'm glad to see that you're paying attention."
Class finally ended and just as I left, I felt my phone vibrate. Scowling, I opened the message:
Looking good ;)
Abbie: who is this?
Josh: it's Josh. duhh.
Abbie: how did you get my #
Josh: I have my ways Ms. Morse.
Abbie: have a good day Mr. Davidson.
Josh: Oh please, it's Josh ;) you know that.
Abbie: ok "josh".
Josh: See you later ;)
Shoving my phone back in my pocket, I followed Amanda outside where we ate our lunch.
All I could think about was Josh. She didn't know what he wanted, but deep down, she wanted more than just "friends" with him. Regardless if she's dating James or not.
