Thanks to Josh’s advice-which consisted of her getting Amanda’s notes, I managed to ace the exam.
I sighed when my paper was handed back to me, and Josh smirked at me.
“Starting today, you won’t be my students anymore. My work here is done. Not only with this course, but with the freshmen. If you meet me by any chance, you can call me Josh. Having said that, you’re dismissed.”
Once everyone stood up, a redhead walked up to him and smiled. “Well, since you are no longer our teacher, Josh, may I have your number?”

“Nice try, sweetheart. But I already have a girlfriend.”
Amanda looked at me and smirked. “No way!”
“Yes way,” I whispered.

I nodded. “Not for the grades though.”
