Abbie, quite childishly she might admit, ignored Josh’s calls and texts that day, and the day after that. She didn’t know what to say to him, if anything, about what she saw.
She was after all his submission, and he was her dominant. They had no commitment to anything special. He might own her in his world, but the opposite was not correct.
What was there to even expect?
On Wednesday, as she exited campus, heading to the dorm, a car she knew too well stopped right next to her.
“Get in,” he ordered.
She kept on walking, ignoring him, despite the sound of his voice making her completely melt inside.
He stepped out of the car, grabbed her arm, and told her in a firm voice, “I said get in.”
She sighed and got in the car as requested.
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Nothing.”
“Yeah right, Abbie. I can see right through you. Something is clearly bothering you.”
“NOTHING is wrong.”
“You haven’t returned any of my phone calls or text messages.”
She simply shrugged. What could she possibly say to him besides wanting to slap him and tell him how bad he pissed her off.
“Maybe a good spanking outdoors would do you some good,” he told her in a serious tone.
“What?”
“Now, you’re acting normal. Tell me what I did wrong, so I can fix it.”
“Are you that f*****g stupid, Josh? I saw you and Vivian. Try and explain that shit.” I tried to hold back tears the best I could as I looked at him.
“Vivian? I did nothing to her, but she does want to f**k me and doesn’t know how to take no for an answer. She’s a colleague I used to work with.”
“Are you kidding me? NOTHING?! You let her give you head! Right in f*****g front of me Josh.”
“Okay okay. It was wrong, Abbie. It was and I’m sorry.”
“What the hell was she doing?”
“She found out I’m lecturing you guys, so she wanted to come see me.”
“Why aren’t you taking me to the dorm? Don’t you have a project that you have to finish by the end of the week?”
“Thanks to you ignoring my calls, I had plenty of time, so I got a lot done. It should be done by tomorrow, so now that we’re good, why don’t we grab dinner?”
“Are you crazy? What if someone sees us?”
“How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t mind losing my job? And since you’re an adult, they can’t do anything to us, and as long as you’re the most brilliant student around, they won’t even give you a warning.”
“Right...”
“Think a little.” I know it’s a difficult task with me around, but still...”
No matter how much he pissed me off, he always seemed to make me happy at the end of the day.
