I came to cradled in Bradley's arms as he rocked to and fro as though comforting a child. When I opened my eyes it was to nine pairs of eyes staring at me from across the room. I must have been out for quite a while as we were all congregated in the family room of the main house. How I got here I can only guess. But here I was, held tightly in Bradley's arms staring back at people I hadn't seen in four years. That's right. I was either staring at ghosts, or my mother and Uncle Caleb were alive and staring back at me. My eyes blured with tears. I wiped them away with the back of my hand.
