Cora stumbled a little as Jagson pulled her down the path to the gardens. She could already see the glow from the lanterns that had been hung in preparation for tonight’s feast. It was early dusk, and despite the agony waging in her mind she felt a sense of calm come over her at the sight of the festival that had been prepared.
