As they stood there discussing, I slipped out from among them quietly, heading towards the secluded training grounds. I needed some time alone to process everything that was going on and to hone my skills. Lyraeus’ plan was to make Kael believe that he had the upper hand, a strategy that would require careful planning and execution.
