Chapter Five
Silver clouds wandered over them encasing the pair into an ethereal fog. David lay beside Mora between the cotton sheets. Mora lay asleep and David stroked her hair. The sounds of the outside world alerted him. He leaned forward to kiss her forehead. He could see that this woman was someone he would always fight for. He smiled softly. The miasma roamed over them. He began to move from her unhurriedly. Her arm pulled him back to her. She snuggled closer to him. David chuckled and removed her arm around him. Mora’s eyes shot open and turned to him.
“Where are you going?” she asked with a petrified tone.
David caressed her face, “I’m going nowhere, Mora. You have me. All of me.”
She rose from her position and placed her hands directly on his chest pinning him to the bed. She
