Mr Roswell got to his daughter's residence and met her crying. Seeing her state he couldn't bring himself to shout at her. He drew her closer to him in trying to comfort her. When she raised her head up, her eyes were blood shot, swollen, she's been crying for so long. Then she said "I'm sorry, I know how hard you've worked in trying to win this contract I'm sorry I ruined it" And I love Alexander Vaughn, I just don't know what came over me" she continued. She's was really pained and he could feel it for her. At that moment he hated Alexander. He was able to put her to sleep before leaving her residence. ... After Kelly and her best friend Cecilia left the hospital, they both went to Cecilia's place to talk about her dress for her up coming 23rd birthday. Cecilia wanted something unique and clean as her birthday dress and she trusted her best friend to handle it. They yapped about other things, each forgotten about what happened earlier that day. It was getting dark, they had their dinner and Cecilia offered to drop her off at home since her car was still at the mechanics workshop. ... Inside his penthouse, silence filled the massive living room while Alexander stood near the glass windows overlooking the city below. A glass of untouched whiskey rested in his hand. His jaw remained tight, cold, unreadable. But deep inside him, chaos brewed violently, betrayal, humiliation, pain. He had spent two years loving Vivian Laurent. Two years imagining a future with her. And in the end… She destroyed everything. His phone buzzed across the table. Vivian... Alexander stared at the screen for a long moment before finally answering. “What?” he said coldly. On the other side, Vivian’s shaky breathing filled the silence. “Alexander… please,” she whispered weakly. “Can we talk?” “There’s nothing left to say.” “Please don’t do this.” Alexander laughed bitterly. “Don’t do what? React to finding my girlfriend in another man’s bed?” “It wasn’t supposed to happen like that!” His eyes darkened dangerously. “But it happened.” Silence... Then suddenly— “I love you,” Vivian cried softly. “I swear I do.” Alexander closed his eyes briefly. Once upon a time, those words would have softened him. Not anymore. “You should’ve remembered that before cheating on me.” “Alexander please—” “I’m done, Vivian.” And with that— He hung up. Another call came in almost immediately, he ignored it at first, but at the third ring he decided to pick the call. This time it was Mr Roswell "Vivian is dead...
