Chapter 8– Secret PlansAfter going home, Annamaria cleared her head. Once she was composed, she headed to the hospital to visit Melanie. But the staff only allowed her to leave a message as the doctors were busy tending to her friend’s wounds. They told her she could visit the next day. But she stayed at the hospital until the head nurse ensured her the doctors were done with Melanie and that she was fine. She was so caught up in her own thoughts on her way home, she did not see Christie until she walked into her first opponent.
