Chapter 18 – The North Rise AgainPetra was furious when the guards reported back to her the next morning. They had watched Christie’s room until six in the morning. Knowing the two prisoners were due back in their cells by then, they had knocked on the door, thinking the three overslept after a night of passion. But when they had received no response, they had forced the door open, only to find the room empty.
