Jayme scrambled to turn the corner. He realized that Marion was important, but he had mobilized help to deal with her temporarily, but Clara... she was in grave danger and could die.
Jayme didn't care about any of the problems between them before. He just wanted to help his friend. It had nothing to do with his feelings for Zanara.
At least he had to make sure Clara was safe so that he could get on with his day.
