Sapphire the day after the ball

Sapphire POV:

‘ Why moon goddess ? Why me ? What in the hell did I do to deserve this ?’ I laid silently in my bed just letting the tears fall freely down my face . Embarrassed. Depressed. Broken hearted . Wishing for different . All these things are all I’m feeling and wishing . It sucks . My mate . My handsome ass mate . I was praying to the moon goddess he would be different . Praying he would love and cherish me for me , not turn his back against me because he believes all the crazy rumors that I don’t have a wolf . I have her . She’s here talking to me every day and comforting me everyday from all the things people say .

“Why don’t you show yourself Celeste ? Why can’t people see you and put me out of this misery ?” I ask her for the millionth time just this year.

“ Sorry love , I will show myself to everyone one day but the moon goddess told me I will come to form when I’m needed most and am able to present my worth.”

“ I think she just wants to punish me or she hates me. “

“ I know that’s not the case Sapphire , give it time . I’m sorry this is hard for you.” She whimpers as she backs slowly into the back of my mind .

I guess we are both feeling the depression at it’s fullest . It’s only the middle of the day and I just decided to lay here and forget the rest of the day and the things I needed to do and just drift off into a nap . Little did I know I was getting my own personal visit .

I sit up in my dream and look around . I’m in a meadow that has a lake with a small waterfall . It’s got this peaceful feeling to it . Like you can finally breathe . Then I look to the side of the lake there’s a beautiful wolf , beauty beyond words .

“Celeste?”

“Yes my beautiful human it’s me. We finally meet. “

“As you can see my dear child I hope you now understand why I have to hide your wolf from the rest of the world . She is special, you are special “

I looked around in search of who said that and this beautiful woman is walking towards me . She had beautiful dark blue eyes , she was tall and had blonde ish silver hair . She wore a dark blue dress to compliment her eyes and she walked with grace . She was an elegant woman . My eyes widened and I asked her “ Are you the moon goddess?”

“ I am child , and I need you to listen to me.” She walked up to me a cupped my face with her hands.

“ You are special Sapphire and I’m sorry that you feel betrayed by me my child but I have a purpose for everything . Your mate will soon realize my reasonings as well as long as he chooses to not be stubborn . Be patient my little love , your time will come . Be patient with me and your wolf and especially be patient with your mate , Talk to him and reason with him but do not describe your wolf to him. Let him know she exists and to believe you , to give you a chance and let time tell our future. Trust me , your wolfs time will come.”

I simply nodded amazed at this beautiful woman. She kissed my forehead and rubbed my wolfs fur and walked off into the distance.

I woke up startled and covered in sweat . I ran into the bathroom , showered and got dressed . It’s about dinner time so I’m hoping my mate is still around the pack grounds and he hasn’t left . I got dressed and put on light make up . Now to find my stubborn mate.
