Alpha meeting and Alpha Jasper

The Alpha meeting:
Alpha Jasper’s POV:
“Well looks like all the packs are doing fine, everyone's training is still full of dedication and hard work ; with the exception of Blood moon going even harder but that's why they are our strongest pack.” Elder councilman Gregory stated in the middle of the meeting.
I smirked in appreciation of this statement. I held his head high, as he should for his exceptional pack. I was proud of his pack and their hard work and dedication, there is no doubt about that.
“Alpha Jasper, with your pack being the best one, I ask, would you mind sending one warrior for each of the other packs to help with their training? So that each pack can get stronger? “ asked Elder Gregory.
“No sir, I do not mind at all, I will get to it as soon as I return to my pack . “ I told him. “ Would you like me to return early so that my warriors can head to each pack sooner?” I asked.
“No Alpha, there is no need for the rush, we have not had any rogue attacks in months so I am not worried. Please stay for the ball and enjoy yourself for one night. “ I scowled at his response, I was doing everything possible to avoid this ball. It was such a waste of my time, but I shrugged and decided truly what is one night going to hurt. Maybe drink a shot or two and dance with some of the beautiful females.
“Is there anything else you alphas would like to discuss?” asked another Elder.
“No sir!” all the Alphas replied.
“With that being said you are all dismissed, everyone go get ready for the ball. I expect to see everyone there ready and dressed accordingly.
I watched as every alpha stood up, most of them having their lunas by their side. They definitely were all wiggling in their seats full of excitement , ready to get all dressed up for the ball. Another reason why I am glad to not have a luna yet, I do not think I would have the patience to keep up with all the balls and ceremonies these women need. I am however ready to love and be loved, that's my missing piece, but again she must be powerful and strong. Someone I can look at full of pride to lead my pack to success.
I got up and decided to head back to my room and take a nap. We got settled late last night and I could barely sleep wondering what was going on with my pack at home. I worry too much and I know it but my biggest goal in life was to be one successful alpha and lead a powerful and successful pack. I do not want to feel like I failed them by being away, or if anything were to happen while I was gone. Especially enjoying myself at a ball, but I know my pack and they can hold their own just fine.
I got to my room and looked around, it's pretty big for just one alpha but most of them my age already have their lunas and that is why the rooms are as big as they are. It's the regular black and white decor and some red and gold in places like the curtains and lamps. The bathroom has a stand up shower and a big ass bathtub. Hmm, that might be nice later with a glass of scotch. I lay down comfortably in my bed. I picked up my phone and decided to call my dad.
“Hello son!” my dad answers on the second ring.
“Hey dad, how's the pack holding up?” I ask.
“Great son, training and everything went excellent today. Now please stop worrying for once and relax. I was running this pack before you so I know what I am doing. Take a breather. “ My dad chuckles on the other side of the line.
“I know dad, but you know how I get. I'll relax. Thanks again, I love you dad. “ I replied smiling.
“I love you too son, have fun and see you tomorrow.”
I hung up the phone and checked all my notifications. Then plugged it up to the charger and went right to sleep.
3 hours later:
I woke up and looked at the time, I still had about 2 hours to get ready and head to the ball. I get up from my bed and head to the bathroom and start the bathtub with hot water. I go to the mini bar and pour myself a glass of scotch . I get undressed and relax myself into the tub and take sips of my scotch.
About 30 minutes later I decide I have relaxed enough and get out of the tub and wrap a towel around my waist. I put on my navy blue suit with a gray vest underneath. I comb back my semi short hair and spray on some cologne. Just as I finish putting on my dress shoes Beta Sean knocks on the door.
“Hey you ready man, I am ready to meet the ladies.” I can hear him snicker on the other side of the door.
“Yeah I guess” I open the door and roll my eyes.
We walk out and head to the big ballroom on the first floor. ‘Let's just get this over with’ I think to myself. I am ready to go home.
