Their unfamiliarity made for a quick, albeit uncomfortable, lunch. After setting down her utensils, Bianca thanked Miranda and made her exit. Miranda didn't offer much more than a polite farewell before showing her guest to the door. As soon as she was outside, Bianca headed towards Evie's, eager to juxtapose her firsthand experience of Miranda with Evie's description. Soon, Bianca found herself at Evie's doorstep. Having lost her job the previous day, Evie had spent her day refrained behind her door. Upon hearing a knock, she blurted in frustration, "What the hell is wrong with you? It's broad daylight!"
