Shi Lang walks along the riverbank. He’s contemplating life. Dayin is within his reach. He can sense her soul in the village. What will she be like? What will she look like? He can always recognise her. Will fate give them a break and he can have a chance at getting to know her? Why does he suddenly feel timid? His heart longs for her, but his feet don’t want to go there. What is wrong with him? He has seen his share of bad endings, this one must be different. The village is right there. Only one bridge away. A few steps and he can see her.
