Special Transfer Part 2

(Transferred? Ah my job became much more difficult and my free time becomes much lesser... wait a minute isn't the transfer between divisions is much more difficult to be done with?) 

"So, Aster the request of your transfer to this division is being processed, so you don't need to worry about it by tomorrow you should have the letter for transfer on your bed," said the woman. 

"Wait a minute... tomorrow isn't that a bit too fast?" said Aster with shock. 

"Usually that cannot be done but with the next operation coming on this letter of transfer was an exception as it was directly from the higher up," said the woman indifferently. 

"You!!!" said Aster as he walks closer to the woman. 

"Hey, watch your mouth call her captain Ashlin," said the girl intervening between the two. 

(Captain? she already a captain the last time I remember sister Ashlin was a rank two lieutenant) 

"Just let it go," said Ashlin with a bit-tired tone. 

Ashlin quickly stared at the young girl to stand down before she later opened her mouth. 

"Now please leave the room for a moment," said Ashlin with a bit heavy tone. 

"Heh?! but ma'am," said the young girl with surprise and confused looks. 

"I knew what you're going to say but this is a family meeting so if you want to force yourself in here you know what happens next," said Ashlin with a strict look at her. 

After a moment of silence hearing what Ashlin just said put her in her place while making her face red while calming herself down she slowly turns her body and walks to the door after arriving at the door she turns back and gave a pilot salute then left the room as she clenches her left hand hard. 

"Then with due respect, I shall leave," said the girl. 

"Huh?!" said Aster who took notice of her sister's behavior. 

(Sister Ashlin just smiled and that look is oddly refreshing by the looks of it) 

The girl then turned her body then closed the door behind her. 

"Okay let's return on the topic beforehand... but before that," said Ashlin. 

At that very moment her voice who was quite playful before quickly sigh before continued her next word as the situation turned serious in seconds. 

"Aster," said Ashlin. 

"Yes, sis" answered Aster. 

"You no longer have any communication with her after that day?" said Ashlin while staring at him directly in the eye. 

"Huh... er... nope," said Aster reminiscing the past. 

"Really?" said Ashlin a bit distrustful. 

"... yeah," said Aster 

Hearing what Aster just said Ashlin just creased her brows not believing what he just said. 

"All right if what you said is true... then I would let go of that topic and here for you," said Ashlin. 

"Hm?" said Aster with a bit surprised and confused. 

Ashlin just gave him a document that was classified as a common operation but only a handful of people were allowed to see the content of it at first, he didn't comprehend it after checking on it. 

"Aster opens it and reads the content right now," said Ashlin. 

"Okay sure Ashlin," said Aster. 

Opening the lock on the document I slowly pull the content next reading the inside of it carefully.

"This..." said Aster as he was surprised by the content while swallowing his word back inside. 

"Now the process of your transfer is already approved and you were ordered to move into the MIU pilot dorm so quickly pack your thing and congratulate you once more into the MIU company," said Ashlin as she shows her smile at Aster. 

"Oh yeah... is there any question you would like to ask about the unit?" said Ashlin while taking her document located on the side and reading on it. 

"I was going to ask about the entry exam for the MIU... should I also take part in it?" Ask Aster. 

Listening to what Aster just said, Ashlin stopped reading and quickly closed the document then put it back on the table before lastly stare at Aster in the eye. 

"By protocol, MIU exam is a must for all future member to take part in the exam but you other hands have a special case and also background so this would not apply to you but as he ( you know who ) requested you are exempted from the test," said Ashlin as she returned to continue reading the document. 

"..." by Aster as a turn and walk to the door. 

"Okay you are dismissed and are allowed to leave," said Ashlin as she glanced her eye at him. 

"Okay so excuse me then," said Aster as he closes the door behind him. 

Leaving the door behind him he sighs in relief but remembering that he would be transferred to the new pilot dorm he was forced to let out a wry smile while walking back to his dorm where most of the MIU when the night comes as they rest up for the next operations, walking throughout the corridor the other soldier from the ADU as they time to time glanced towards him before turning back to what they are currently doing. 

Aster after returning from the Special department the surrounding that was warm and welcoming turned cold and respectful in an instant which he remembers when he was young as they thought him nothing more as a higher-ups son which the altitude he always disliked with before suddenly his friend Chris as if not caring of his surrounding or what most would do just waved his hand like he usually was which put him a bit shock but he always been wanted to have as Aster walk closer to him. 

"Hey Aster how it going," said Chris. 

"Nah it's fine," said Aster. 

"Well as I thought you are a pilot, previously when I see you try to use that mech I sensed something odd about you," said Chris "It's like you know what you should do during those time and what I thought was right about it" as he continues with an added smile" 

after listening to what he just said surprised Aster more as he slowly shows his smile as his friend in front of him did not change the slightest knowing he was someone different than him. 

"Aster so from the looks of your face it seems to me that you going to pack up and leave I'm guessing, I mean that cousin of yours said you would be transferred to that place sooner or later," said Aster with a sad face. 

"What are you saying about even though we no longer work at the same place we could still chat around through the Holo-chat or meet sometime in the canteen don't tell me you forgot," said Aster teasing him. 

"Ah, yeah I kind of forgot about those since we always meet. Hahaha" said Chris. 

"Well, I will miss you in the Assault drop unit though, since there is no one else that could do the same as you," said Chris with a wry smile. 

The nearby people noticed what he meant by Chris which ticked them because the two had always been a weird duo but even so they let it go since it was merely a talk between the two as they were going to be separated because of the sudden transfer so they let it go. 

"Aster!!!" shouted someone. 

"huh?" followed by Aster with surprise. 

"Well aren't u great being selected as one of the MIU what a great honor it would have been," said the person who liked to mock Aster. 

"Hm? well if you want to take it then tell it to them, I'd rather wanted to stay away from the MIU," said Aster without looking at the person. 

Suddenly the man grabbed Aster's shoulder hoping to stop him but either by reflexes or knowing it Aster quickly pull the man's hand throw it to the ground in front of him so fast that everyone was so surprised by it, the man who is thrown were dumbfounded before the extreme pain that came after it was the person felt the pain not from the shock but something else as it suddenly spread out all over his body. 

"Agh?! what this pain!!! Aghhhhhhhh!!!" as the man screaming in pain. 

"Ah... forgot to control me, damn it," said Aster in anguish. 

Everyone nearby was surprised by it as the wall where the man was thrown made a c***k before he faints from the unbearable pain, Aster was looking at him but did not do anything as he wanted to go away quickly. 

"Here we go again, Aster I know you are frustrated but don't take it out to him," said a girl bit younger than him. 

"Hm? oh, Elia sorry about that?" said Aster with a wry and sad smile. 

"Well if you say something like that then you will join us, right?" said Elia with a big smile. 

"Er?! yeah..." said a bit nervously. 

Aster then noticed the girl before just walk into the place as she was still talking with her partner before noticing Aster was with Elia, where she walks close to Elia while greeting her but she didn't give any respect to Aster. 

"Ma'am everything is prepared and we're waiting for your next order." said the girl indifferently. 

"Understood you may leave," said Elia without emotion. 

The girl still looking at Elia sometimes glanced at Aster with hatred and sometimes disgust but that was not something she would show easily in front of Elia with how close she is with Aster. 

"... Understood Ma'am," said the girl indifferently. 

The girl then walks out then turned her head around with her eye gazing at Aster with a bit of hatred but she opened her mouth as if whispering at Aster which sounds like the following word "I thought you would run away from this challenge, it seems to me I'm wrong about it" this word did not make Aster startled as he did not seem to show any emotion toward her as his face were emotionless. 

Letting out a sigh Aster looks back at her where she looked at him in disgust but the very movement made by Aster made her surprised which said this "Well just don't run away yourself" as if mocking her back, surprised by his word her face previously made surprised looks quickly changed into a red like the color of tomato as she quickly turns away in shame before running out of the place as her assistant before later on ran after her. 

Leaving the place Aster walks back to his barrack before but as he arrived all of his belonging was already been packed up only the one on his drawer was still inside which he walks to his bed while taking out the content of the desk where he pulls out what appears to be a pendant from inside of it. 

looking at the pendant, he sighs oddly as of smiling on his luck before opening the pendant which reveals a small card inside of it, he then sat down on the side of the bed where he pulls out what appears to be a watch pressing the side of it the watch started to boot up which later ignited a hologram based picture showing a large word "Welcome Pilot" looking at it he felt the intense sad memory before he pressed a button on another side of the watch where it opened a cardholder from the inside where put in the card. 

The watch then loaded the card data where later it accepted it and another were added inside "Welcome back Agmen Pilot Aster" (Agmen is shortened term of Augmented) Q-AI has been detected... Virus... undetected, program started. 

What appeared in front of him is a Hologram of a girl who appears to be sleeping, before slowly waking up then stretching her back while slowly opening her eye. 

"Agh... Um... heh, Aster?" said the holo AI. 

"Yeah, it's me," said Aster with a smile. 

"Wow?! you look more handsome than previously, Silvia must be happy now," said the holo Ai. 

"Yeah, she would be Lucy," said Aster with a wry smile. 

"... Wait, is she?" said the Lucy" 

"She's alive... it's just I don't where she is now," said Aster. 

"Ah... sorry Aster," said Lucy sadly. 

"Don't worry, it's okay I will be going with you... we have a re-initiation test later," said Aster as he packs the bag. 

"Yeah, sure I will wait," said Lucy as she later turns herself off. 

After making sure everything is done he put the watch in his hand then walks out of the room and walk to the test room where his sister going to begin the test on, arrived at the front door he sighs once more before opening the door where he found his sister and the girl before was looking at the screen in front of them. 

"So, is everything been optimized yet?" asked Ashlin. 

"Yes, ma'am... we already checked there is nothing that will interfere with the test, no bug, no virus, nor lag would cause a problem," said the technician as he checks the program once more. 

"Good then all is good," said Ashlin as she smiles knowing everything would work fine. 

Aster felt everyone was watching him silently, he could only leave the place and walked out of the room then walking to the room where Ashlin previously mentioned before as he arrived and opened the door to the room.
