Chapter Twelve: Jackson’s Designer

I had woken up and headed to the gym, my body was a bit sore from all the hits I took last night but in the end we won the game 4-2. We were on the a winning streak 7 games strong. I was so happy to be here, I know next week we will be off to play 10 away games so it’ll be a long few weeks.

After I got home, I showered and made breakfast and cleaned up. Good timing, cause it’s 10am and Cara must be here. So I get off my stool coffee in hand and go to answer the door. Once I open the door, standing there is the most beautiful, stunning woman I’ve ever seen. She is wearing tight black jeans, a pink loose blouse and wedge heels, she had brown hair, the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen. She took my breathe away, that has never happened before, what the f**k is happening.

I hear the most beautiful voice in the world which brings me back to reality. Cara’s hand sticks out to shake it and introduces herself. Hi Jackson I’m Cara it’s nice to meet you, I take her hand in mine and I felt an electric shock and my heart thumped inside my chest. No woman has had this effect on me before. What the f**k is happening.

Please come in Cara, would you like a cup of coffee? I’d love one, thank you. I go to the kitchen and grab her a coffee; cream or sugar? 2 cream, 1 sugar please. That’s the same I drink, mmm we have something in common. I handed the mug to her.

She was looking around the place when I finally asked her if she wanted a tour, she shook her head yes. I got up from the stool and took her to the entertainment room, my office, bedroom / ensuite, living room, dinning room, I wasn’t going to show her the kitchen since she saw it when she got here. I watched as she walked with confidence and assurance.

In each room she had taken photos and took measurements, everything in the place needed a touch for warmth so I know this will be a long project and with a price tag.

We had sat down on the couch and she started talking about her ideas and I was just staring at her memorized. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I can’t start stop staring at her and thinking about how good she would feel beneath me. f**k!!

Cara called my name and I shook my head, yes Cara. Jackson I think we can turn this into something amazing for you and your girlfriend. I say, I’m going to stop you there, I don’t have a girlfriend I am single, so it’s just me here. She nodded her head and smiled gently. Okay well this will be easy, tell me what are your favourite colors and what your interests are.

My favourite color is light green and blue, I like history, books, coffee, hockey and golf, I like to play pool and drink beer and watch horror movies. I hope this helps you with a design plan. She nods as she is writing everything down, this is perfect stuff, thank you. This project is going to take me a full day to do the plan design and 9 weeks to complete. I usually like 6 but this is a whole condo that isn’t small hehe.

Her giggle was cute as hell. Her ambition is next level, I can see why Jeff is so proud of her. Sounds good to me I replied, let me know a cost. She replies I sure will, you should have the full plan and price by Monday, can I have your email so I can send it to you. Mmm why don’t I come to your office and sit down with you on Monday evening, I will be out of town the next few weeks with away games. This should give you time to start.

She smiled and said deal, I’ll see you Monday at 5PM, I like Italian, Bye Jackson.

I stood there in shock. She just told me to get dinner and meet her at 5, I’m totally down.

But I can’t have distractions or can I?
