Chapter Two: Jackson’s Scandal

I looked at my agent is absolute horror. I cannot believe how much I screwed up this time. It was my birthday and I decided to go out with some friends and we had picked up some puck bunnies, and took them to our hotel penthouse suite.

Little did I know I was going to be videoed having a 3 sum. Deep down I feel like I was being set up by my ex-best friend.

The morning after my birthday, I woke up to my agent calling me. I answered right away and she started yelling at me about the video which I had no idea about. As she was yelling at me, I looked online and found hundreds of magazine postings of the video from the night before. My eyes widen in shocked and a feeling of dread started to form. This right here was going to be my demise and get me traded. What a stupid mistake last night was I thought. Once I came back to reality, she demanded I fly back to Washington and deal with this head on.

I went online to find a flight back to Washington from Florida and found a flight that was set to leave in 3 hours, I packed my bags and went straight to the airport. Everyone was staring at me, judging me. I f****d up and I knew it. I was constantly getting calls from magazines, players from the team and some friends and my parents. I ignored all of them and waited to respond until I was with my agent.

The plane was boarding and for the next 2.5 hours I would rest and try to think of a game plan for this disaster.

When we landed in Washington, I went straight to my agents office and holy s**t she was mad. I couldn’t blame her, I had screwed up. When we sat down, she exploded on me, and informed me that my team the Washington Panthers finally had enough of my s**t and had traded me to the New York Oilers.

Sara my agent went over my new contract with the Oilers and man there was a lot to adhere to, but I kind of expected it. My contract stipulated:

1. Probation for the remainder of the year (4 months)

2. No partying

3. Appearances at all charity events, galas and family events

4. Any scandals, trades back to the WHL no other NHL teams

5. Community Service

As I am reviewing the contract, I am thankful I only rented a Condo here, didn’t need to worry about selling.
