The second guard tried to shift into his wolf form. His bones started cracking, fur started sprouting on his arms-but Kael was faster. He grabbed the man by the back of his head with both hands and slammed his face into a tree. Then he did it five times and by the third hit, the man wasn't moving anymore. Kael let go and He slumped to the ground and didn't get up.
