Alpha grabbed the witch by her arm firmly and pulled her to her feet.
“Get whatever you need,” he ordered.
“And get in the car. You’re taking us to your house. You’re doing the spell. And then you’re giving me the name of the witch who hexed Adam.”
She gulped but didn’t argue this time.
Kael stepped closer and said to her in a low warning voice.
“We’re not letting you out of our sight. If you even blink wrong, you may not make it to where we parked our car.”
She swallowed again, nodding quickly as she grabbed her bag by the counter.
Dante gave her a bright smile that somehow still sounded like a threat.
“Cheer up! Field trip!”
Alpha didn’t smile, nor did he blink.
He was already turning toward the door, radiating fury and urgency like a storm in human form.
