52: Deva Deva It had been easy. She’d used the vent in the store-room by the lift, and had climbed down the service shaft to the lower levels. Deva used the plans stored on her terminal, but the further she went, the more they became guidelines only. A couple of times she had to double back after taking the wrong fork at a junction. She expected guards, but saw nobody. There were occasional clumps that could’ve been boots, but they could’ve also been clanking from old pipes and vents.
