I shifted the second I was among the trees tearing through the trees as fast as I could, my entire body revolting against running away from our mate. 'Skye why is this so hard! Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? You saw his face; he didn't react the entire time I was talking! It was like he didn't care if I stayed or if I didn't!' I could feel tears in my eyes as we ran faster and faster heading for the border. Maybe we could catch the end of a patrol to tag along to or just be alone for a while.
