Victoria Price dropped a heavy legal binder directly onto the pristine glass desk. Her face was pale and drawn tight with fresh anxiety.
"Richard Murphy suffered a massive myocardial infarction on the stage," Victoria reported cleanly. "He is currently on permanent life support at the city hospital. His corporate empire is completely liquidated."
Ryan Parker sat back in his leather executive chair. He did not offer a single word of sympathy for the fallen CEO.
"Richard is irrelevant now," Ryan stated. "Who bought his final assets?"
"The Elysium Summit," Victoria answered. Her voice trembled slightly. "They bypassed the federal regulators entirely. They absorbed his remaining properties in exactly ten minutes."
