Xavier froze the moment his mind registered the words that were said by the doctor. His gripped around the old man’s neck loosened as he stared at him with confusion dancing in his eyes.
“What did you just say?” Xavier was not sure if he was sober enough to hear right things or not but he swore in the name of God, he heard the word baby being mentioned by the doctor or was he wrong?
“What?” the doctor asked in confusion as he knitted his old brows together and sweated in fear. He contemplated if he had said something wrong again that might have offended Xavier again.
“What did you just say?!” Xavier yelled this time making the doctor to flinch in horror with his sudden rise in voice, “What did you say about the baby?!”
