After Hazel's announcement at the party, the Silver Crest pack was rather peaceful, contrary to what I'd expected. I expected an uproar, clamor, and the pack members having a lot to say about Paige, but none of that happened. Instead, they all just went back to their normal lives, like Hazel didn't just announce who his mate was.
That aside, I'd expected some sort of a celebration too, because if the news I've heard of him dismissing any talk of mating and not even paying any attention to the women who came his way was true, then shouldn't the pack be jubilating that he's finally found his fated mate?
