‘Are we having dinner now?'' I asked no one in particular as I made my way to the dining room after being called by Mrs. Kelly.
She didn't inform me that Paige would be joining us, I probably would've come up with an excuse to avoid eating dinner with them. Ever since our encounter, I haven't stopped thinking about her, and especially since the mark on my neck wouldn't stop pulsing.
It was giving me a weird feeling of some kind of excitement that I probably didn't want, yet the feeling was calming and kept pulling me in.
