She was late. The ball had officially kicked off about two hours ago and Paige was nowhere to be seen. It rubbed me wrongly that she was, she and her date too and I was beginning to grow agitated. But it seemed like I was the only one who gave a rat's ass where she could be.
Every fvcking guest on the list was present, including Orion and his father, everybody mingling and exchanging pleasantries as I anxiously took peeks at the entrance. A part of me was glad she wasn't here, at least I wouldn't be having to worry about her and Orion's reunion, but a bigger part of me was worried and at the same time pissed. It angered me that I had no idea where that scumbag had taken her or doing to her right this moment.
