23.05 Jesus cannot be gold-plated, Jesus tells me. Why can’t he? I ask in wonder. It’s impossible, he says, that’s not the point. Then why do the Roma think that you are gold-plated? The Roma, he says, know that I am not gold-plated, they simply hide this from everyone else. Why? I say, puzzled. To distance themselves from the rest the Roma, says Jesus, are corporative, they do not need to have their faith accepted by others, understand? They specially created a gold-plated image of Jesus so that everybody would think that the Roma consider Jesus to be gold-plated. In reality they know better than everyone that I am not gold-plated.
