TOUCHDOWN 2

Finally standing alone in my room caused me to begin replaying Aunt Vivian's words from the moment i saw her to when she left my room. The result baffled me and filled me with disgust and anger. Right then and there I made a promise never to physically indulge with aunt Vivian. I must avoid her at all costs. That's the other reason I must resume early. Getting out of this insanely beautiful house and not seeing her face, was just what I needed the most. Just then my phone rang, it was a video call from my sister, Ada. I beamed with happiness for the first time in Canada. " Hey, Ada. " I started as I stared at what used to be my home through my phone screen. " How was your trip? " My sister asked. " Peaceful... calm, " I answered. " How... how are you feeling? " I saw the look in Ada's eyes, I knew what she really wanted to ask. " I'm... I'm trying my best. " " Honey, " My mom began, entering the phone space from the left, " You'll have to do more than try, you have to do it for me, okay? " I swallowed spit, " I can't just act as if nothing happened, I just can't. " " Amaka, you must get along with her. " My mom pressed. I looked away from them, strolled over to my window, and rested on it. My mother was being typical and getting on my nerves again, but I must stay calm, that is what I do. I understood the part of her wanting me to peacefully live together with that aunt Vivian, but she was not acknowledging my pain. My wandering eyes met with the house and room opposite mine and then I saw something like two people having a heated verbal argument. I became inquisitive, my focus drifted from the call I was on. " Amaka, do you understand? " My mom called me back to them. At that point, I realized that I had to agree with her, " Sure mom. " " Take things one step at a time Amaka, " That came from my sister, " You have all the time you need. " " Yeah, " I faked a smile, I just wanted the call to be over with so I could get back to the drama brewing inside the room opposite mine. " I have to use the toilet guys, love you, bye! " Without waiting for them to reply, I ended the call. I immediately went back to my initial focus, but I had missed the drama. One of the occupants inside the room was angrily bursting out through the window. I couldn't see his face completely. He had full and curly black hair covering it. He had no shirt on, just jeans and he seemed to be in a hurry. The other person in the room remained inside, but I wasn't focused on that aspect. I was drawn to seeing the guy outside, but I couldn't let him see me so I ducked. I saw him pacing around with his hands on his waist. Soon enough, he was out of sight. I ran my eyes through the environment in search of him but to no avail. I soon changed positions, now sitting on the floor and resting my back on the wall, Soon, I opened my phone casually to check a text message I had received. I was distracted with my phone activity when a shadow surfaced behind me, my heart skipped a beat. When I turned, it was the same guy that I was spying on. He appeared just as stunned as I was, " Oh s**t, there's someone here. " My heart thudded so loud that I could hear it, I tried making words but I couldn't. The boy stepped inside my room and said, " It doesn't matter, I need to spend the night here. "
