The next week went off as seemingly as possible. I was back at work and trying to focus on that over everything else even though there wasn’t much to do. Josh was the only obstacle. He had stayed over once or twice and I felt myself feeling more guilty for Brody having to see that over the opposite way as before. Brody pretty much made himself scarce when Josh was in Alice Cove. Faking it with Josh was easy though, because I had already been in this routine for quite a while, and I also still felt the attraction emotional and physical, which was also killing me inside.
