Well f**k, this looked painful. We didn’t think Josh would be coming to Alice Cove as he’d probably have to clean up the mess the storm created at the farm.
When he found me on the beach I was relieved that I decided to take some time to myself and reflect. I wasn’t expecting to see Brody back at my camp when I wasn’t there, waiting for me.
“Well yeah, that’s why I’m here, it’s always better to drink in company right?” Brody smiled at Josh, playing the part.
He had an extra beer with him which he outstretched to pass to Josh. I knew that beer was meant for me but I left Josh’s side and went inside to grab an extra for myself, bringing a stool out with me.
