I came out of the ablution block and couldn’t even believe my eyes, I stood behind the pillar so the shadow hid me as I watched.
It was Josh and that new girl Layla. They stood outside her kombi van talking, I watched their body language. I knew they had been down at the beach drinking and Layla could barely keep her footing, she was lightly swaying and Josh was holding onto her forearms keeping her stable.
As they talked Josh kept moving closer to her. She smiled and then her head fell back as she laughed, as she came forward to look at Josh again he grabbed the back of her neck with his left hand and pulled her that last centimetre towards him, and then he aggressively kissed her.
This, I did not expect.
