“Hey! Get this one, ‘Lady Violet Viora Free From Marital Shackles!’ I think that one is my favorite so far,” Cathy cackled from her spot at the kitchen table.
I playfully rolled my eyes as I prepped our drinks at the counter. “Well, it’s certainly one of the less crude titles they’ve come up with,” I noted.
Yes, I was fairly anticipating the slew of newspapers and articles that were going to drag both my name and my picture through the mud over the court hearings. I knew I could expect to be the center of the public’s attention for at least a little while until something else came along.
