“You know, I think this place suits you much better than that other estate,” Cathy said approvingly.
A few days had passed since the gala and I was determined to keep myself as active and productive as possible. Even though all the Sterling Estates were transferred over into my name, I refused to stay at the main house.
It was filled with nothing but unsavory and bitter memories. A life that was never truly mine to begin with. One that was used, abused, and easily discarded.
