CHAPTER 5: ANGER

It's been two weeks after all that drama and dad's burial rites. Speaking of dad, I want to visit him. I've been home for two weeks. I've refused to go out of the house, and I'm trying to figure out when my perfect little world decided to fall apart. The idea of being an orphan, friendless and single , in summary I'm a 'LONE WOLF' as people would say ironically I find it comforting rather than having a whole lot of people here sympathising with me over the loss of my father. I really needed this time for myself to think ,dad's not here anymore and so is mum so o have to do all the thinking my self . I've been quite alone for a while so I stumbled upon mum's diary in her room in literal terms a bunch of old and new books "seems mother wrote a lot rather than talk about her feelings", i mumbled little wonder she always indulged me in little or huge talks about everthing making me very open towards and with her . With mum everthing was about transparency, guess she wasn't keeping her part of the bargain "Rude" I hissed out. "Hmmmm?" " I saw the guy who saved me some days back ,he's really handsome, oh I wish he could look my way again" I read mum's first journal ( diary) seems to me that dad wasn't her first love .I kept reading her diary mum, which seemed quite untamable her whole life full of blissful adventures and emotions. Being soo immersed in my reading I skipped lunch and I don't think Nancy was letting me go by skipping dinner "CHRISS MATILDA IF YOURE NOT OUT IN THE NEXT 3 MINS FOR DINNER I'LL DRAG YOU OUT" geez she yells a lot she's my best nanny but we never treated her as one she was like family to us. Dad and Mum let her off her job. When she turned 26, they wanted her to live her life, and they said. Mum loves her a whole lot she does so the yelling for mum. Well I'll be back for the rest then " I'm coming I yelled back" I ran down to the kitchen I no longer enjoy eating at the dinning I rather make Nancy eat at the kitchen island with me. It's just us now myself , Nancy and Frank, and some guards. It seems dad was a hot shot. " Pasta and meat balls?" I asked " I don't want it I'm full" I said really disgusted cause its mums favourite " Matilda please just eat this I really wanted some of it that's why we're having it" she said " (hufff) I know I know but the poor food is innocent just eat hun" she pleaded " Fine but its just because I'm hungry not because you asked me" I said.

After dinner, I rushed back to mums room to keep up with my reading. I just might discover who this mystery man is. While reading, I noticed a patern seems mum was always in a rush to finish up her writing to get to bed. "Antonio Dante??? " Antonio was who killed my father. This piece of information is required. If I'm correct, mum had a crush on Antonio because he saved her, and then their love story took off? But why didn't she get married to him? I mean, they both lived in the same place and came from the same place, so what happened? Why didn't she get married to him? Why, dad? I became angry at the thought of not being born and not having the best dad if she had married Antonio.

I read further. It seems their relationship started off rocky, but they seemed to be flowing really fine. Seems he was obsessed with mum than she was in love with him from what she had written here. ' Curiosity kills the cat' a proverbs used by elders "I never knew the nature of Antonio's job whenever I ask he's always uneasy I'm feed up with it , he always comes back from his ' trips' either injured or half dead. I just had a fight with him till he opens up about his job I'm not speaking with him" their first fight I guess after 6 pages of her journal seems he didn't tell her tho he just kept sending flowers as an apology, they did reconcile but he still hasn't opened up to mum "seems like she gave up" I thought. I thought she did till I saw a part of her journal where she did the most daring and impressive stunt . " I just have to know what and who he is ,I followed him to his home but I had to stay hidden away from his guards ,I always wondered why we were followed around but I would find out today" I read the first part and I got really interested or rather invested I too want to know who this man is I need to start plotting my revenge if he takes away my happiness I'll take away everthing makes him a man, I'll burn his entire world to Ash.

END OF MATILDA POV . THIRD PERSONS POV

Would Matilda really be able to burn down his whole world? Would the persons who walk into her life give her another glimpse of hope towards life, or would they crush the little hope she has left? She dives further into her mothers journal and discovers that her both parents meet under pressured circumstances. Her father was the head security that worked with Antonio's father he was ordered by Snr Dante to Elope with Grace with no particular reason " you're to take her away for some time if necessary get married to her Start a family keep her tied up and away from Antonio he needs to be focused " said Snr Dante roughly " Antonio shall be weeded to Bella Alfanso next week" he walked out leaving Chriss to fight with his thought as he's never thought of marriage or children.
